Personal Bio

imgI think I was enthusiastic about football since the nursery. I cannot remember it indeed, but I heard I used to kick any doll when I hadn’t a ball near. In pre-school, when I was 4, I found boring playing with other kids of my age, so I played football with children of 6 or 7 years. Even in the scholar league I always competed against older kids. However, football was not the only thing, because I also felt a strong attraction for the tennis. When I was 3 years, I started taking tennis lessons. Actually, I shouldn’t play until the age of 5, but thanks to my mom and her interest on me, I could begin before. In my Marbella’s holidays, when I was 9-10, I practiced 6 hours daily with a personal coach.

When I was 11...

I had to decide which sport I wanted to take more seriously. It wasn’t an easy decision, but my life in Madrid with football friends filled my life. Maybe I chose football, because it’s not such a lonely sport as tennis, and also essentially for the feeling of optimism and happiness that inspired on me. That year I left the scholar leagues, to devote all my time to training with Rayo Majadahonda. Anyway, tennis and golf are still my summertime hobbies.

At this age, as the other members of the team, I dreamed on becoming a professional player in the football elite. However, my parents inculcated me the importance of a good academic training. Unlike most my teammates, I never had any problem to combine studies and football. With a sense of order, concentration, and other skills, I could enjoy fully my favorite sport at the same time I matured.

As I progressed by different categories...

I took it more seriously my effort and commitment. Playing against such a good teams like Real Madrid or Atlético, and even scoring –my first hatrick was playing against Atlético- I realized how much importance had got my football life. My family never stopped to support me, and they were close to me all the time. Even when I had the opportunity to travel to other cities and countries, I never missed my family, because they accompanied us and took advantage to do some tourism. I must confess I missed some friends from my childhood, because my devotion to the football world. I not only loved training and playing, but also the atmosphere which surrounded this way of life. I used to arrive before the training, maybe hours, to be there with my friends. It wasn’t only a football matter; I spent a great part of my life enjoying this brotherhood.

When I signed up with Málaga CF at the age of 16...

the challenge was stronger, in sport, academic and personal areas. I lived in Marbella, so I must travel frequently to Málaga for training and preparing myself for the University access. I think that playing in a squad of a first division team, is a dream that came true. On holidays I also train every day to keep myself in good shape, and I take care to have good nutrition and enough sleeping hours. This is a world in which you have to work hard if you want to go far.

An International change...

New career on July 2013 with 18 years I signed for a professional team Sint Truiden in Belgium, 2nd division professional team. within the top five Belgians. New way to an international and highly competitive.

Nowadays, I study Industrial Engineering, always focused to go ahead. Professional skills are essential in case of injury or if something else prevent my dream of playing in the football elite. So, I can’t complain about anything, since everything is going well.
